Action stations! Now's your chance to shape electricity rules so more people can share the benefits of local renewable generation.
The public consultation on the P441 modification to the electricity trading rules - 'The Creation of Complex Site Classes' - is now OPEN to individuals and organisations, with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 14 November 2025.
This change will put local energy markets like Energy Local Clubs on a simpler and clearer legal footing and effectively allow more communities and small-scale renewable generators to team up to enjoy lower costs and higher revenues.

Anyone can respond to the consultation and you don’t have to answer every point if you don’t feel able to do so. You can also answer questions with a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ if you choose.
Every contribution will help make the case for greater support for small-scale renewable energy, benefitting people and planet.
