Roupell Park and Capel Dewi soon to go live

Great news, we are in the final stages of setting up our two latest Clubs. After receiving many expressions of interest, Roupell Park (in Brixton, South London) is closer than ever to going live. The project will be supporting clean, solar energy generated right there on the rooftops of the Roupell Park Estate. This will be our second project in England, but the first of its kind in the capital. Read more about the Roupell Park scheme here.

And in South Wales, we hope to see our Club in Capel Dewi go live soon too. Energy Local Capel Dewi will also enjoy locally generated solar energy and will enable its surrounding communities to benefit from cheaper green renewables.

More members to join Bethesda & Machynlleth

We would like to welcome our latest members set to join the Bethesda and Machynlleth Clubs in the next few weeks. At this stage, we are arranging the last few background preparations to get you Active.

After this, the Bethesda Club will then be full and no longer recruiting anymore new members.

Recruiting now! These Clubs are looking for new participants

Whilst the Bethesda Club is full, the following Clubs are looking for new participants to join the Energy Local scheme: Capel Dewi, Llandysul, Machynlleth, Bridport, Crickhowell and Dyffryn Banw.

Check our Clubs page here to see if you are eligible to join a Club in your area.

Welcome to Giles!

Giles is joining our team as a Club Advisor and will be working with the Clubs in Machynlleth, Llandysul, Capel Dewi, and Dyffryn Banw. His role will involve supporting these Clubs as well as outreach to raise awareness of the Energy Local project in these communities. Giles lives in the Bethesda area and brings with him a varied background to the Energy Local team, including a degree in Environmental Planning and Management to teaching in primary education and language schools abroad. We are very pleased to have Giles on the team, and he has hit the ground running!
