Club Status
We are in the process of setting up the club, and we are looking for people who may be interested in joining.

Join Energy Local Bro Rhian

Our club enables locally generated renewable energy to be bought by local domestic customers at a fair price.

As we begin, we will be using electricity generated by a local wind and solar generator but will also be seeking to add more local renewable energy in the future.
Interested in joining the Club?  We are looking for a small group of early adopters to take part initially, as a member of the club, you will be able to benefit from lower-cost locally generated solar power while helping the local area become more sustainable.

To be a member you will:
Be able to switch supplier to 100Green either at the end of your contract with your current supplier, or be willing to pay an exit fee to them (if required by that company).
Have a smart meter (or be happy for one to be installed).
Need to understand that to gain the most benefit you should be able to shift some of your electricity use to the times of day when local generation is most effective and the cheaper club rate is available.
Be prepared to accept a 'deep green' tariff with 100Green, which is higher at times than some standard domestic tariffs, when you are not using locally generated electricity.
Need to be a resident in the highlighted area.

Tariff:
Members of the Club who use power when it is being produced locally by the generator will be charged a lower unit price - known as a “match price”.
When insufficient power is being generated locally to meet the needs of club members, you will receive a  “time of use tariff” (TOUT), this varies depending on the time of day.
