Duddon Valley
We are seeking expressions of interest from households to join a new Energy Local Club in the Duddon Valley.
Energy Local Duddon Valley is a new Club only available to residents living in the Duddon Valley area. It is an exciting opportunity to save money on your electricity bill while supporting clean, local renewable hydro energy.
The Club is only open to residents in the area supplied from the distribution substation on Kirkby Moor. The area is roughly indicated on the map and includes Broughton-in-Furness, Foxfield, Angerton, Wall End, Chapels, Grizebeck, Beanthwaite, Woodland, Broughton Mills, Ulpha, Seathwaite, Cockley Beck, Birkerthwaite, Duddon Bridge, Hallthwaites, and Lady Hall. If your house falls within the area, you may be able to benefit from cheaper, greener, locally generated electricity.
The price for renewable energy with the Energy Local Club will be below the current price cap. The Time Of Use Tariffs detailed below are the current costs which apply during times when you are not using renewable energy. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
The project is supported by Cumbria Action for Sustainability and funded by Electricity Northwest as part of their work to cut carbon emissions related to electricity generation in the region.
If you are interested in joining, please let us know by clicking the 'I am interested' link at the bottom of the page, and fill in the form. Should you have any other questions, or are unsure if you fall within the catchment area, feel free to contact Donna for more information.
